Purchasing & Bids


 

Purchasing orchestrates the procurement of substantially all materials, supplies and equipment used by Troy Schools in its day-to-day operations. Purchase orders from throughout the District are processed from this department. In accordance with policies developed by the Board of Education, all supply orders with an anticipated cost in excess of the most current competitive bid threshold may be subject to competitive bid. Please check the items that are currently out for bid or email your product line and contact information to our Purchasing Department.
 
Additionally, the department operates a Central Stores warehouse to supply building needs for copy paper.  The warehouse is equipped with a loading dock capable of handling 53 ft. semi-trailers as well as a pallet truck for offloading heavy items. Deliveries of large/heavy items intended for individual school use are routed through the warehouse for ease of handling by school personnel.
