Career Awareness (K-5)

At the elementary level, our vision is to equip students with the skills, confidence, and curiosity to explore diverse careers, nurturing essential competencies aligned with their passions in a changing world.

Our goal is to empower students with the abilities, self-assurance, and inquisitiveness to delve into various careers, fostering vital skills that resonate with their interests in an evolving world. Career Awareness strategies introduce students to various types of careers. It is important that student exposures include a broad spectrum of career pathways, including nontraditional careers for their gender.

Career Exploration (6-8)

Students will expand on their awareness of the six career zones by being introduced to Michigan’s 17 Career Clusters. Learn more about EDP’s, Talent Portfolio’s and more.
