Great News About the Fine Arts in Troy
Hurrah! For over ten years, the Troy School District has been selected one of the “Best Communities for Music Education in America” by the American Music Conference thanks to a supportive Board of Education, administration, community, and dedicated and talented music specialists in our classrooms. This honor is based on a national survey of more than 50 questions that explored funding, student participation, course offerings, and the overall instructional quality of the district’s music program. The Troy School District is well known throughout the state and nation for its outstanding Fine Arts education. For this, we say “thank you!” to the Troy Board of Education, Dr. Richard Machesky, Kris Griffor, and to the Building Principals for their continued support of the Fine Arts in Troy and enabling us to be the best we can be.
