Middle School Math:  6-8 Grade

Middle School consists of grades 6 through 8.  The Troy School District Mathematics Department believes all students are doers of mathematics.  The Troy School District Mathematics Department believes all students are doers of mathematics. Algebra Readiness Assessment

The Algebra Readiness Assessment is designed to provide information about students’ mastery of Math 6 and Math 7 content, as well as students’ ability to extend their learning to a few ideas developed in Math 8. This information is provided as another data point to consider when choosing your student’s next math course. In the spring, Math 7 students take this exam in their classroom. Your student’s results will be posted in PowerSchool in May.
