Through the funding provided by the 2022 Bond, all Troy School District middle school buildings will be renovated. Larson Middle School is scheduled to undergo renovation once the renovation at Boulan Park Middle School is completed. At that time, students and staff from Boulan Park will transition from the former Smith building back to Boulan Park, and the Larson students and staff will transition to the former Smith building.
Larson will be renovated in alignment with our commitment to designing spaces that foster belonging, collaboration, creativity, and engagement. A key element in all secondary spaces in Troy is the establishment of learning communities. The design for both Larson and Boulan Park mimic the learning communities designed for Smith Middle School and Athens High School.
