Ensuring that our youngest learners have safe and stimulating play areas is a priority for TSD. All playgrounds at Troy School Districts were renovated during the summers of 2024 and 2025. 

Our renovated playgrounds: 

• Foster inclusive play for all children. 

• Are safe and accessible for everyone. 

• Encourage creativity and imaginative exploration. 

• Promote mental health through joyful and engaging experiences. 

• Connect children to nature, enhancing environmental awareness. 

• Inspire curiosity and awe, sparking wonder, and discovery. 

The budget for each playground was approximately $700,000, which covered demolition of the old playgrounds, site work to address issues in the play areas and prep for the new playgrounds, and the new play equipment.
