The Troy School District Purchasing office is responsible for the procurement of virtually all school supplies and equipment used in this 12,000+ student  public school system.

Competitive bidding in accordance with School Board Policy and State of Michigan statute is utilized to maximize the buying power of the district.

Welcome to the Troy School District Purchasing Department's home page.  The department orchestrates the procurement of substantially all materials & supplies used by Troy Schools in its day-to-day operations.  In accordance with policies developed by the Board of Education, all supply orders with an anticipated cost in excess of $5,000 are subject to competitive bid.  Please check the items that are currently out for bid or sign up to be included on our bid list. 

Additionally, the department operates a Central Stores warehouse to supply building needs for paper, school supplies and assorted custodial supplies.  The warehouse is equipped with a loading dock capable of handling 53 ft. semi-trailers as well as a pallet truck for offloading heavy items.  Deliveries of large/heavy items intended for individual school use are routed through the warehouse for ease of handling by school personnel.
