The Troy Community Families FAQ Homes Parents Partners

REALTOR® Sponsorship Information

For one day, the entire Troy community will be open to demonstrate to families the benefits of Living and Learning in our city. This estimated $60,000 program will promote our nationally recognized schools and parks, police and library services, Oakland County’s lowest full-service tax rate and great location makes our community the best place in metro Detroit to raise a family.

City and school officials, local realtors, and area businesses will be available for prospective residents to learn the exciting things that happen in our city. Municipal and school officials will be meeting prospective residents at the Troy Community Center and an estimated 200 realtors will host Open Houses throughout the city. A comprehensive advertising and media campaign will promote this nationally-recognized partnership between the schools, city, real estate agents and the business community.

For a $10 investment, realtors will receive:

  • Advertisement of Open House information in a booklet that is distributed at the Community Open House to all visitors.
  • Advertisement of Open House information on the Live and Learn Web site (www.liveandlearnintroy.com)
  • A Live and Learn in Troy lawn sign that can be displayed outside your Open House.
  • Coupons from local businesses that can be provided to your clients from local businesses supporting the Live and Learn in Troy.

You may begin registering homes at your earliest convenience as we will begin to market this program in early August. Signs for the event will be available by September 1. If your property is sold prior to September 19, we will refund your sponsorship or you could exchange for a different property.

The maximum cost to realtors is capped at $50. If you are hosting five or more homes that day, your investment will only be $50.

Please note that this opportunity is open to licensed real estate agents only.
