Troy High School students participate in 27 different sports activities.

Both Athens and Troy high schools have been named one of 10 exemplary athletic programs in the state.

The Troy School District athletes and teams earned the following during the 2006-2007 school year:

Nine league champs

Six District champs

68 All League Athletes

17 All Region Athletes

15 All District Athletes

20 All County Athletes

46 All State Athletes

1 All American Athlete

Athletic physicals set for July 28, Aug 4

Two opportunities to receive a sports physical will be held available for students participating in school athletics during the 2010-2011 school year.

Physicals will be held July 28 and Aug 4 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Athens High School.

The cost is $20 and checks should be made payable to Family Medicine. The physicals are mandatory for any Troy School District student participating in Michigan High School Athletic Association programs.
