Enrollment in the Troy School District is based on Residency which is where a parent/legal guardian owns and/or physically resides. Within our district boundaries, your residency address is assigned to a specific attendance area/school. Click here for district maps and attendance areas.
For the 2017-2018 school year, the Troy School District Board of Education voted to accept the following “limited” number of Schools of Choice placements under the guidelines for both 105 (In Oakland County) and 105c (Out of Oakland County but living in a county that is contiguous to Oakland):
55 - Kindergarten Students
5 - First Grade Students
27 - 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Students (combined)
*Please note that siblings of current Schools of Choice students will receive first preference to enroll for the placements listed above. Applications have been emailed directly to the current Schools of Choice students who have a sibling eligible through Sibling Preference guidelines. These Applications must be downloaded and submitted to Troy School District – Administrative Building – 4400 Livernois, Troy, MI 48098 between March 1 and March 15, 2017 (by 4:00 PM on March 15th). Schools of Choice (Non-Sibling Preference) Applications will be posted here on the website on March 13 through March 30, 2017 and must be submitted at the same location (by 4:00 PM on March 30th).

K-12 students are enrolled through Central Enrollment located at the Administration Building, Troy School District, 4400 Livernois, Troy, MI 48098. Click here for Enrollment Requirements/Procedures.

If your student is eligible for Kindergarten for the 2017-18 school year, please contact the school your child will be attending and add your name to the incoming Kindergarten list. You will be sent all enrollment instructions and paperwork by the building staff. If you live at Somerset or Charter Square Apartments, please call 248-823-4002 or 248-823-4004. for the enrollment instructions. It is important that your Kindergarten student be enrolled prior to the end of the current school year.
