All Troy Schools are accredited by the North Central Association.

The Troy School District has six national exemplary schools and all schools have received the prestigious Michigan Blue Ribbon honor.

The Troy School District has been named one of the 100 Best Communities for Music Education.

Troy School District students and staff are honored for excellence at both national and state levels.

Both Athens and Troy High Schools are two of five schools statewide to have exemplary athletic programs.

The Troy Board of Education is one of 16 Honor Boards in the State of Michigan and one of four to earn the Visionary Leadership Award.

Bemis Elementary

  • Reading with a child who needs additional help and practice (Rhona Gorosh - 248-823-4131)
  • Helping a child edit and revise a piece of writing (Rhona Gorosh - 248-823-4131)
  • Helping a child with math (Karla Hebert and Gayle Spiteri - 248-823-4109)
  • Working one-on-one with a student who needs help completing assignments (Karla Hebert and Gayle Spiteri - 248-823-4109)
  • Helping with Centers in the Kindergarten (Jen Miller and Amanda Summers - 248-823-4104)
  • Helping in the Media Center (Book Checkout, book shelving, making bulletin board displays, etc.) (Robin Couzens - 248-823-4131)

Wass Elementary

  • Star Center—lunch tutoring program for students who need to catch up on work that they may have missed. Please contact Margaret Ullmann 248-823-3919
  • Clinic—no special training needed during lunch time. Please contact Amy Barnhart (parent) at (248) 828-4324

Wattles Elementary (Contact Dr. Judy Garrett, principal at 248-823-3400)

  • Volunteers to read to children
